Wendell has over twenty-five years’ experience in long term care including assisted living, memory care, independent living, skilled nursing and rehab. He has held several leadership roles both at the corporate and community level. His tenure is highlighted by successful outcomes, longevity with organizations, community profitability, team building, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and census building. He currently is the Executive Director at Manor Lake Hickory Flat. A beautiful AL/MC/IL community of 174 units. The community began operations in October 2024. This unique experience has allowed him to work with a startup community, build exceptional staff, set the culture of the building, establish goals, systems and standards.
Wendell has a BA from Furman University and a master’s in health care administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
He has been married for 27 years with 3 children ages 24, 21 and 19. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, attending concerts and sporting events.
